[Lyrics for “Blood on the Ridge”]
In Shenandoah shadows Magnus walks alone tonight
Thorin’s pack behind him, but the valley’s losing light
Björn’s empire’s rising from Thunderfjord’s cold command
He took Dragon’s Bane’s Alpha, left their blood upon the land
Lieutenants form a wall no wolf can break or bend
Ragnarok is next to fall if the fear don’t meet its end
It’s one wolf and one grizzly at the lake where death awaits
Magnus chasing Achilles, bearing Skol Pack’s fate
If he don’t bring the legend, if Boris takes him down
The blood bath starts at sunrise, every pack will drown
Thorin dies in silence, Skol scatters to the wind
The mountains run with crimson if this gamble don’t win
Two moons back the raven flew with challenge in its cry
Boris waits for vengeance ‘neath the blood moon in the sky
Wolves and bears are enemies since the old drought days of old
One wolf can tire the monster if he plays the story bold
Magnus trained for this moment though his Alpha said don’t go
Mother warned of other roads but freedom’s all he knows
The Valhalla blood still burns hot in Magnus’s veins
He’ll exhaust that grizzly killer or he’ll die beneath the rains
If the legend cracks the terror and the hide comes back in teeth
The empire built on fear will crumble underneath
But if Magnus falls to claws there in the Teal Lake mist
The packs will turn to war and the valley won’t exist
Dragon’s Bane already gone, the others next in line
A blood bath ’cross the ridges, Skol Pack left behind
So he walks the ridge at midnight with the moon as his only kin
For the blood that runs in Valhalla, for the pack he’ll never see again
If he claims the legend’s glory the war might fade away
But if he falls to Boris then the blood bath owns the day
Of every wolf in the valley and the howls will turn to cries
As the empire takes the mountains and the freedom slowly dies
