#49 The Law of Nature

[Intro]

In the shadowed pines, under a blood-red moon,

The old wolf leans close to the Rottweiler pup so soon.

[Verse]

Yo, little Rott, ears up, eyes on me, listen tight,

I’m the ghost of the ridge, huntin’ through the night.

Nature don’t hand out meals on a silver tray,

You want to eat? Gotta stalk, strike, and slay.

No bowl waitin’, no master with scraps from the plate,

You chase life down or become the thing they hate.

The forest’s honest—cold, cruel, no disguise,

Survive by the fang, or watch your own demise.

[Chorus]

Kill or be killed, that’s the only decree,

What eats you tomorrow might be what you see.

Law of the wild, carved in blood and in bone,

Hunt or be hunted, you stand here alone.

[Verse]

Watch close now, pup—lesson drop in the snow.

That rabbit twitchin’, thinks he’s safe down below.

I ghost through the ferns, silent, low to the ground,

One burst, one crunch—life’s over, no sound.

Blood steams in the frost, hot against the white,

You back up shakin’, eyes wide with fright.

“I can’t… that’s wrong,” you whimper and plead,

But hunger’s a fire, it don’t care what you need.

[Verse]

Sniff the wind shift—deer, big buck, heavy and strong.

Antlers like branches, grazin’ where he don’t belong.

We flank him together: you circle left, I right,

Drive him to my jaws, end him under starlight.

No more excuses, pup—this is do or you die,

Help me take him down, or tomorrow you cry.

Nature’s the judge, jury, executioner too,

What eats and what starves? That’s decided by you.

[Chorus]

Kill or be killed, no middle ground here,

The weak feed the strong, year after year.

Law of the wild, brutal, raw, and true,

You take life to live—that’s what predators do.

[Verse]

Puppy’s paws tremble, but somethin’ sparks deep,

Old blood remembers, instincts no longer asleep.

He growls low and charges, barks sharp through the trees,

Deer bolts in panic—straight into the squeeze.

I explode from the shadow, leap high, clamp the throat,

Buck crashes heavy, fightin’ the choke.

Thrash turns to stillness, warm rivers run red,

We stand over the kill—pup ain’t scared now, he’s fed.

[Verse]

Look at you, Rott, you answered the call,

Pushed past the fear, stood proud and tall.

That instinct woke up, sharp as my claw,

You felt the wild truth, deeper than law.

I’m impressed, young hunter, you got the fire inside,

Tomorrow you’ll stalk with me, side by side.

Eat your fill tonight, let the strength fill your frame,

’Cause in this savage world… we play the same game.

Kill or be killed—whisper it, live it, believe.

The law never bends, never asks, never grieves.

We feast on the fallen, grow stronger, survive,

Pup, you’re no longer just tryin’—now you thrive.

(Word to the wise: Nature don’t negotiate. Eat… or get eaten.)
